Blue-faced Honeyeater
Drawing this bird has been a long time in coming! I’ve wanted to draw a Honeyeater for ages, and as they feed off nectar, I had to include flowers.
These are quite common birds in gardens and parks, and I have been asked to identifiy them so many times. All people have to say is “It’s got a blue eye patch’, and I know.
Pulling out all my yellow, orange, red and pink pencils to create these Australian natives blossoms was such a fun challenge, though I got so confused by all the leaves!
